THE OHMIES Extends On Theater Row Thru 9/25
By popular demand, performances of THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN (www.theohmies.com ) - an exceptional all-new theatrical experience for pre-schoolers now playing at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater at 416 West 42nd Street in New York City - have been extended through September 25. We worked with a panel of 12 child development experts to make sure that the story is something that is not just developmentally appropriate for our audience, but that delivers genuine enjoyment and value for both kids and the adults who care for and about them.

Kids ages 3 through 8 will dance, stretch and giggle during THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN as their new BFFs -- Bella Butterfly and Carlin Caterpillar - take them on an engaging journey to wake up Mr. Sun so that their garden of wishes will grow. Along the way Bella and Carlin and friends lead the audience in a series of yoga-inspired dance exercises as they advance the story and learn to make friends and defeat their worries.
THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN runs 55 minutes with no intermission and is performed in an open theater space in which the audience sings along to original music, hops like a grasshopper, slithers like a snake, flies like a butterfly and more on antimicrobial fitness mats. (Seating is available for those who can't sit on mats.) Loose-fitting clothing - and colorful socks! - are recommended for everyone. THE OHMIES: MORNING WISH GARDEN is much more than theater - it's a one-of-a-kind interactive musical experience that gets kids' bodies moving and their imaginations running wild!
