THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES Comes to Gallo Center, 5/18
Scotland's highly acclaimed Puppet State Theatre company will bring Jean Giono's story THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES, to the Gallo Center stage on Friday, May 18 at 7:00 P.M. This multi-sensory theatrical adaptation of the environmental classic tells the inspiring story of shepherd who plants a forest, acorn by acorn, transforming a barren wasteland.
As much a touching tale as it is a hilarious puppet show, THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world. This show is recommended for ages 7 and up.

Puppet State was founded in 2003 by Richard Medrington, who has worked as a professional puppeteer since 1984. In 2006 he teamed up with Rick Conte and Ailie Cohen to develop an adaptation of Jean Giono's THE MAN WHO PLANTED TREES.
