THE LYONS Closes on Broadway

The Broadway production of Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS will end its run at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) following today's performance, after having played 80 performances and 21 previews. Directed by Mark Brokaw, THE LYONS began previews April 5 and had its official opening night April 23 with a cast starring Tony winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa.

Prior to Broadway, THE LYONS debuted Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre last fall. THE LYONS is produced on Broadway by Kathleen K. Johnson, who presents the Vineyard Theatre Production of the play.

In addition to Ms. Lavin and Mr. Latessa, the cast of THE LYONS features Kate Jennings Grant, Charlie Hofheimer, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell.
