Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

Today, we caught up with James Barbour, star of Assassins, A Tale of Two Cities and the upcoming new Broadway musical Rebecca, co-starring Sierra Boggess

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

Bob Fosse's DANCIN' (To this day I do "jazz hands" every morning when I wake up).

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I don't really have one. Unless it's Sunday in the winter then I try to catch as much football as I can before the matinee.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

There was a Copper Head Snake that was sliding through the audience at The Jenny Wiley Theatre once. (Paige Davis and I were doing HELLO DOLLY there at the time). The audience didn't seem to mind. They just picked up their feet as the snake slithered past.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Wow...that's dark. I don't really think about dying. There's too much to live for. But if I have to choose I'll choose MERLIN. That way I can live my life until old age and then live it backwards again which should be pretty cool.

Who is your Broadway crush?

My wife. Had a crush on her when we worked together and still do to this day. (Oh...and Hugh Jackman).
