Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with the Skivvies (Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley), who open in SEX TIPS FOR STRAIGHT WOMEN FROM A GAY MAN, playing at the 777 Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

Nick: Sunset Boulevard

Lauren: The Goodbye Girl! My cousin Lisa Molina was one of the child stars in it.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

Nick: When I do Buyer and Cellar, I sing the opening monologue while I get ready to make sure I don't stutter over any of the many words.

Lauren: Depends on the show. If I'm doing a lot of high legit singing, I steam up my shower/bathroom and warmup to a 20 min recording that my voice teacher Candace Goetz made for me. When I was playing The Countess in "A Little Night Music", I had 40 min before I entered, so in order to get warmed up, I'd do the 7-min online workout to get my blood pumping in my costume undergarments/wig/makeup.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

Nick: A few weeks ago, I got a shot in my arm and had a terrible reaction to the medicine and ended up vomiting violently then passing out. I was in the hospital at 5-630pm. Came home, got ready, ate what I could, and made to 54 Below at9:28 for a 9:30 show.

Lauren: I got food poisoning that began 15min into MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS: A Radio Play. I was supposed to be onstage for virtually the whole show in character. I felt funny at first, but it got worse real fast. I kept running offstage in little moments where I wasn't the active scene to vomit or have explosive diarrhea. By the end of the show, I could barely stand, was fainty and after I said my final line before the final song, I ran stage left and projectile vomited half into a garbage can and half on a stage hand.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Nick: I've been lucky enough to get to play a few of my dream roles actually quite recently. Seymour in Little Shop and Brad in Rocky Horror have always been dream roles and I get to play them at Portland Center Stage, Playhouse in the Park in Cincinnati, and Bucks County Playhouse! I am sort of a weirdo and would love to do a revival of the Off Broadway show that is super kooky from the 90's called EATING RAOUL. And I would love to get to do it with Lauren. Mary and Paul Bland are sort of the hybrid of Seymour/Audrey & Brad/Janet. And I would love to play both Mickey and Eddie in BLOOD BROTHERS. I just love that score and that story.

Lauren: Dot in SUNDAY IN THE PARK. Jenna in WAITRESS. Adelaide in GUYS AND DOLLS. When I'm old enough, the witch in INTO THE WOODS and Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Nick: Alice Ripley.

Lauren: Daveed Diggs and Will Swenson
