Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Chris Sullivan, who stars as 'Hermes' in HADESTOWN, playing at New York Theatre Workshop.

What is the first Broadway or off-Broadway show you ever saw?

Broadway - Drowsy Chaperone.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I spin around in a circle 7 times and recite The Road Not Taken, invoking the courage of the great poets. Sorry. I just eat a cookie and annoy the stage management.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

Walked out in front of a 500 seat house, forgetting to put on my microphone. Realized I was just gonna have to abandon all subtlety for the next 90 minutes; and on that day, my signature style of over-acting was born.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

I would like to play at least three more roles before I die.

Who is your Broadway or off-Broadway crush?

Man crush has got to be Christian Borle. He is TROUBLE. Lady crush; Greg Hildreth. No contest.
