THE DIET SHOW Extends Through July 2013

Following several sold out performances, THE DIET SHOW, the new comedy production starring past winners, finalists and contestants of the hit NBC TV show The Biggest Loser and co-written by comedy star Gilbert Gottfried has added performances thru July, 2013, with upcoming show dates on 2/2, 2/16, 3/2, 4/20, 5/11, 6/22 and 7/10 at STAGE 72 in New York City (158 West 72nd Street).

The new season of The Biggest Loser currently airs Sundays on NBC, and from hysterical and heartfelt monologues to a crowd-pleasing food jingle medley to the marvelous 'magic' of Spanx, in THE DIET SHOW performers share true life inspirational stories, reflecting on their own (often hilarious) accounts with the "Battle of the Bulge."

The cast features Erik Chopin (Winner of The Biggest Loser Season 3), Bill Germanakos (Winner of The Biggest Loser Season 4) and his brother Jim Germanakos (also a contestant on Season 4), Tara Costa (a finalist on Season 7), Alfredo Dinten (a finalist on Season 10), Suzanne Mendonca (a contestant on Season 4), Nicole Michalic (a contestant on Season 4), Mark Pinhasovich (a contestant on Season 10), as well as comedian Jeff Pirrami and Lane Bryant plus-size model Krista Mays.

Co-written by Gilbert Gottfried, Sean Pomper and Karen Katz, Sean Pomper also serves as director and all audience members will be given a free 7-day pass to Anytime Fitness.
