SURFSCAPE CONTEMPORARY DANCE THEATRE PRESENTS "MOVING STILL" Saturday, November 7 2:00PM & 7:30PM
Committed to Bringing the Art of Modern Dance to Volusia County Audiences-We offer lecture demonstrations to promote arts education in local schools as well as invite local students to attend matinee performances at reduced ticket prices and at no charge.
-Tickets for all performances are offered to area youth, seniors, and designated populations at reduced rates and children 3 and under attend performances for free. -Community dancers, musicians, and artists from area schools and colleges have opportunities to both study and perform with the company and area theater students gain valuable experience helping backstage at each of our performances. In addition, theater and technical students are involved in creating our props and sets. -As a community theatre, we utilize and liaison with local artists and merchants for musical accompaniment, set designs, costumes, catering, marketing and other support. We serve as the only professional modern dance company in Volusia County.
