Stephen Gracia & Michael LoPorto, the writer and director of NEXT, reunite with NEXT actors Kendra Leigh Landon & Ridley Parson for the current monthly installment of DIALOGUE WITH THREE CHORDS  on April 26th at 8 p.m.

The event will take place downstairs at Mr. Dennehy’s Irish Pub, 63 Carmine Street, NYC, presenting two new short plays from playwright Stephen Gracia: For the Prettiest One & Discomfiture and live music by Ridley Parson and poetry reading by author Jenny Husk.

For the Prettiest One finds two aging drag queens discussing the end of their drag era by way of Greek mythology and is directed by Jennifer Skura. Discomfiture, directed by Michael LoPorto, depicts two very different types of drag kings backstage after a show as they argue about identity, masculinity, and authenticity. The performance also features a reading by Jenny Husk, whose newly released poetry book "Vocalises" provides the theme of the evening: the struggle of the self against the body.

There will be a $3 suggested donation at the door.
