According to The Hollywood Reporter, Comedy Central stars Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will appear at an upcoming Amnesty International Event along with comedian Russell Brand and the band Coldplay.

The human right's organization will be bringing its 'Secret Policeman's Ball' event to the United States for the first time this March. The event is a billed as a 'celebration of free speech' and features music and comedy from some of today's most popular performers. The event will take place at New York City's famed Radio City Music Hall on March 4th.

Lily Sobhani, executive producer of the ball commented, “The Secret Policeman’s Ball has a long and hilariously off-color history of using comic genius to fight for free speech and human rights around the world. We are thrilled that the leading lights of comedy and music are coming together to bring the Secret Policeman’s Ball to the United States for the first time.”

Radio City Music Hall, with a capacity crowd of 6,000, is expected to be completely sold out for the event which marks the organization's 50th anniversary. Tickets will go on sale later this month and organizers are hoping to find a TV network to broadcast the festivities live.

Suzanne Nossel, Amnesty International USA’s new executive director explained, “We are thrilled that some of the most creative political humorists of our time will perform... on March 4, those of us who can make fun of our government and walk away in safety will dedicate the program to those who cannot.”
