Steel Magnolias' Rebecca Gayheart on WB-11

Rebecca Gayheart, who stars as Shelby in the Broadway production of Robert Harling's STEEL MAGNOLIAS, will appear on WB-11's "Morning News" on Friday, April 8 between 8:30am and 9:00am .

STEEL MAGNOLIAS opened Monday, April 4 at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway, (149 West 45th Street, east of Broadway) and also stars Delta Burke as Truvy, Christine Ebersole as M'Lynn, Marsha Mason as Ouiser, Lily Rabe as Annelle and Frances Sternhagen as Clairee. This production, which marks the Broadway premiere of the play, is directed by Jason Moore.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS follows the lives of six indomitable Southern women as they share their personal triumphs, tragedies, beauty tips, recipes, and more than the occasional piece of scandalous gossip in Truvy's beauty shop in Chinquapin, Louisiana.

Set design is by Anna Louizos, costume design is by David Murin, lighting design is by Howell Binkley, sound design by Ken Travis and hair design is by Bobby H. Grayson.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS is produced on Broadway by Roy Gabay, Robyn Goodman, Danzansky Partners, Ergo Entertainment, Ruth Hendel, Sharon Karmazin, Susan Dietz/Ina Meibach, Michael Galvis/Billy Huddleston, and Elsa Daspin Suisman/Martha R. Gasparian.

Performances are Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, matinees Wednesdays at 2pm, Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at 3pm.
