Stars from THE LION KING, SISTER ACT, A CHORUS LINE and More Set for Pantochino's Broadway Theater Camp, Now thru 8/10

Pantochino Productions Inc., Connecticut's ridiculously entertaining non profit theatre company previously announced it would host a Broadway Theater Camp at the former St. Ann's School in Milford, Connecticut scheduled to take place today, August 6th through August 10th. Following its two sold-out summer theatre camps at the Milford Fine Arts Council, the company is launching this third week for young actors which will feature Broadway, National Tour and Regional Guest Artists.

Led by Pantochino's Jimmy Johansmeyer, the week-long camp will feature five days themed to the exploration of various Broadway shows and styles. Joining Johansmeyer, will be the company's musical director Justin Rugg and actress Rachael Dugas. Special guests will include Jim Ferris, currently appearing on Broadway in "The Lion King," Marissa Perry, currently in "Sister Act" on Broadway, Matt Couvillon from the national and international tours of "A Chorus Line," Lara Hayhurst Compton of Main State Music Theatre and Pittsburgh Musical Theater Productions of "Legally Blonde" and professional headshot and theatre photographer Julia Gerace.

Johansmeyer, one of Connecticut's most well-known personalities, has led summer camps and after-school drama programs throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties for the past fifteen years. "We're thrilled to have sold out two weeks of summer theatre camp and very excited offer this unique experience to young actors in the area," he said. "We're the only theatre camp in the area offering something like this," he added.

Tuition for Pantochino's Broadway Camp is $250. per young actor. More information is available at www.pantochino.com and registration forms are available by emailing pantochino@gmail.com.
