Manila, Philippines, November 16, 2012 - Young Filipino pianists recently performed live on ABS CBN News Channel's "Mornings@ANC" to promote their concert at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on Sunday, November 18 dubbed "Forte@40," the Piano Teachers' Guild of the Philippines' (PTGP) 40th anniversary fundraiser concert.

The concert features 300 pianists (eight to 80-year-old musicians) affiliated with PTGP.

To reiterate the marquee title "Forte@40," the concert premieres Augusto "Agot" Espino's "Mga Gintong Pamana," which will be performed using 40 pianos and 80 piano players (2 pianists per piano).  "Mga Gintong Pamana" pays tribute to great Filipino musical legends Nicanor Abelardo, Dr. Francisco Santiago, Francisco Buencamino Sr., Felipe de Leon Sr., Ramon Tapales, Dr. Lucrecia Kasilag, and Rodolfo Cornejo.

Special guest performers include CCP President Dr. Raul Sunico, concert pianists Della Besa and Annie de Guzman, Fr. Manuel Maramba OSB, Carmen Padilla, Nita Abrograr-Quinto, Philippine Madrigal Singers' choirmaster Mark Anthony Carpio, UST Singers' conductor Fidel Calalang, Najib Ismail, Mary Anne Espina, and many more.
