Spring Awakening's Kyle Riabko & Christy Altomore Perform Solo Concert at Upright Cabaret 12/17
On Thurs, Dec 17, 2009 at 9pm - Upright Cabaret presents singer/songwriters Kyle Riabko and CHRISTY ALTOMORE in The Kyle and Christy Cabaret only at Upright Cabaret on Vermont (located within the Vermont Restaurant complex) 1714 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90027.
The Kyle and Christy Cabaret will be an evening filled with music, stories and laughs. Kyle Riabko and Christy Altomare have been touring together in the National Tour of Spring Awakening, and now they are back in LA to share some of their original music with the city. Both accomplished songwriters and performers, Kyle and Christy will be playing a wide variety of material. Also, look out for some very special guests!

More about the Artists:
Singer/songwriter/ actress, Christy Altomare has been touring the country for the past year in the first national Broadway tour of Spring Awakening in the lead role of Wendla Bergman. A 2008 graduate of Cincinnati University's College Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a BFA in Musical Theater, Christy has been performing since the age of five in Theater Productions. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve and has recorded three CDs:Not yet Over You(2004), Waiting For You (2007). and an EP entitled After You which was recorded in the fall of 2008 while on tour with Spring Awakening in Los Angeles. While at CCM, Christy had the opportunity to write music for two productions, Spoiled Doves and Anon(ymus). She is a 2004 NAFFA (National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts) winner for musical theater and has won a number of songwriting honors. When not performing in theatrical productions, Christy has performed her original music in coffee houses in the Philadelpia and NYC area.
Christy is very excited to return to the Upright Cabaret, and to share the stage once again with her first leading man on tour, the multitalented singer/ songwriter/recording artist, Kyle Riabko.
Kyle Riabko is a musician and actor who is fresh off of the National Broadway tour of Spring Awakening. Over the course of career, he has released an album on Columbia Records (Before I Speak), acted on television (including the N's Instant Star) and toured the world with his music. Most recently, Kyle played the lead role in an upcoming film titled Rising Stars.
