Spend November 6th Partying With the American Demigods Theatre Company 11/6
Every great story has a phenomenal origin. For Spiderman, it began with a radioactive spider. For Kal-el, an exploding homeworld causes him to be cast into the stars to land on Earth, where the light of a yellow sun tuned him into Superman.
So too it shall be for the American Demigods, the greatest theatre company to be founded in Chicago in the past week. And the finest to be having a party at The Spot Friday, November 6th.
In celebration of our birth, and because we need money to fund our shows, we are throwing a bash of epic proportions.
The plan is as follows:
Admission is $30, which covers an open bar from 7:00-9:00 and a show.
The performance starts at 7:30 with a series of comedic pieces by the Demigods, followed by live rock by Gabriel Pastrana and His Amazing Yet To Be Named Band.
Our very own a Reina Hardy has organized a silent auction that will be going on throughout the night, which will give you the opportunity to bid on theatre tickets, restaurant coupons and all sorts of cool things for low, low prices. And you get the satisfaction of knowing you helped make an exciting artistic venture possible, which is priceless.
Booze, shows, and cheap swag. We'll see you there!
