By: Nicole Rosky
SBCT would like to announce auditions for our upcoming production Strangers on a Train (directed by Craig MacNab). Scripts are available to read for a refundable $10 deposit. Visit the Box Office 12-6pm weekdays to check out scripts. **Scripts must be returned within 48 hours of auditions so please check out scripts now!
Auditions for Strangers on a Train will be held September 10 at 10:00 AM and September 12 at 7:00 PM in SBCT's Mainstage Auditorium, 403 N. Main Street. This is a brilliantly written thriller. If you have seen the film, you may want to take a look at the script because there are aspects of the script that work so much better than the film: the script is fuller, the characters are richer and are essential to moving and complicating the plot. The two main characters--Charles and Bruno--meet on a train, talk about how their lives would be better without the problematic women in their lives and "jokingly" plan the perfect murder--which one of them takes too seriously. Strangers on a Train will make your skin crawl--but in a good way!Characters:
Performances for Strangers on a Train will be October 28 to November 13 in the Wilson Mainstage Auditorium.
