Songs of Harold Arlen at NCTC
The New Conservatory Theatre Center's 2006 Summer In Concert Series presents From Ballads to Blues: The Songs of Harold Arlen starring Meg Mackay and Billy Philadelphia in their newest cabaret show, now running until September 17.
"Mackay and Philadelphia perform songs by Harold Arlen whose career spanned the 1920s through the 1970s and was one of America's most prolific songwriters," states press notes, "Arlen's songs include Blues In The Night, Accentuate The Positive, Come Rain Or Come Shine, That Old Black Magic, The Man That Got Away, One For My Baby, Stormy Weather and Over The Rainbow."
Performances through September 17 are Thursday - Saturday at 8:00PM and Sunday at 3:00PM at Theatre Three of NCTC. The New Conservatory Theatre Center is located at 25 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.
