The Flying Dutchman Overture by Richard Wagner (from the opera, Der fliegende Holländer 1943. Based on Heinrich Heine's retelling of the legend in his 1933 satirical novel The Memoirs of Mister von Schnabelewopski and a stormy sea crossing that Wagner made from Riga to London in July and August 1839).

Valse Triste op.44 by Jean Sibelius (Sad Waltz, originally written as incidental music for his brother-in-law's (Arvid Järnefelt) play the 1903 play Kuolema (Death).

Nuts & Bolts by Carson Kievman (written as a companion piece to Symphony No. 3 (Hurricane) after living through the devastation of Hurricane Andrew in 1992).

Épigraphes Antiques by Claude Debussy (originally written in 1914 to accompany Pierre Louys' Chanson de Bilitis, prose poetry. Also used for a ballet by Jerome Robbins in 1984).

Tristan, Vorspeil by Richard Wagner (Prelude from the opera Tristan and Isolda, 1859. Inspired by Wagner's affair with Mathile Wesendonck and the philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer. Also based largely on the romance by Gottfried von Strassburg).

Musica Ricercata by György Ligeti (A set of pieces for piano composed in the early 1950s and later used in Stanley Kubrick's 1999 film, Eyes Wide Shut).

Les préludes (d'après Lamartine) by Franz Liszt (written in 1856 and refers to an Ode of Alphonse de Lamartine's Nouvelles méditations poétiques and is the third, and most popular, of Liszt's symphonic poems).

Marina Radiushina: Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Radiushina is described as a "virtuoso whose playing is distinguished by rare depth of interpretation and understanding of style." Marina made her debut with the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Valery Gergiev in February 2012 appearing at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. Recently Marina has been a member of Carnegie Hall's resident chamber group, Ensemble ACJW.

Milana Strezeva: Praised by the critics for her "technically fluid, dramatically convincing, and sonically full-bodied supportive collaborations"

(Boston Globe) - Milana Strezeva is a Moldovan-American pianist and a passionate advocate of vocal and instrumental chamber music. She is a founding member of the award-winning Manhattan Piano Trio, one of the most creative and dynamic young ensembles in America.
