MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announced today that tickets are on-sale now to the most dynamic production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, to grace the stage in the show's 79-year history. This year, several elements of the beloved holiday production will be transformed to include six (6) new scenes and groundbreaking technology that will immerse the audience in the magic of the Christmas Spectacular like never before. This year's production will feature new Rockette performances, new musical compositions and heartwarming songs, dazzling new costumes and state-of-the-art technology alongside cherished numbers that have been featured in the show since 1933. The 2011 Radio City Christmas Spectacular will captivate audiences as the past meets the future.

"This year's Radio City Christmas Spectacular will raise the bar for live entertainment," said Don Simpson, executive vice president of productions, MSGE. "We are focused on delivering our Christmas Spectacular audiences with rich, dynamic and premium content while still maintaining the show's traditional core. Through state-of-the-art technology our audiences will be immersed in the warmth and magic of Christmas that only Radio City can deliver."

Through this multi-faceted production, the Radio City Rockettes take the audience on an awe-inspiring journey. As the stars of the legendary Christmas Spectacular, The Rockettes will move this new production forward as they showcase their signature precision dance style and debut some of the most challenging and ground-breaking Rockette numbers that have ever been conceived. The Radio City Rockettes continue to be American icons, and their performance style has always been both entirely glamorous and deceivingly complex. Through state-of-the-art digital projection, coupled with the world's largest flying indoor LED screen, this technology transforms Radio City Music Hall. Audiences will be awe-inspired as traditional numbers including the "Living Nativity" will also be enhanced through digital projection as the starry-night sky of Bethlehem envelopes the audience.

"From my very first year working on the Christmas Spectacular, I felt it was both my responsibility and privilege to keep this cherished production and the Radio City Rockettes moving forward with fresh, contemporary and relevant content each year, while still honoring the traditions steeped in the show," said Linda Haberman, director and choreographer of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. "Working with an esteemed creative team we have been able to transform a vision into a reality with the integration of new technology. This year's Spectacular will be our most imaginative show ever and will certainly be something our patrons have never seen before."
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is proud to be presented by Chase. Chase's commitment to the Christmas Spectacular supports the preservation of this timeless production, which continues to entertain millions of families year after year.

Along with re-imagined new scenes, fan-favorites will continue to dazzle audience including "New York at Christmas," where the world-famous Rockettes will board a REAL double-decker Gray Line tour bus for an awe-inspiring tour of Manhattan featuring show stopping choreography and culminating in Times Square with a live fireworks display. The high-energy tap-infused "Twelve Days of Christmas" will continue to showcase The Rockettes precision choreography and push artistic boundaries.

Traditional cherished numbers such as "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," which continues to set the standard as the signature Rockette number for precision performance, and "the Living Nativity" remain a vital part of the show's core and have been performed since its inception in 1933. The Rockettes will undoubtedly bring the audience to their feet with a Rockette finale, "Let Christmas Shine," honoring and celebrating The Rockettes as the stars of the show. The Rockettes will sparkle from the stage as each Rockette costume is crystallized with more than 3,000 Swarovski crystals.

The entire look and feel of the Music Hall and the Christmas Spectacular will be both interactive and inspired as the show envelopes our patrons and takes them on a magical journey. The 2011 edition of the Christmas Spectacular is sure to deliver one of the most imaginative and spectacular experiences this holiday season, as only Radio City can deliver.
