According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Sierra Boggess will be taking part in a reading for the upcoming musical adaptation of REBECCA. The show is based on the novel by Daphne Du Maurier. Carolee Carmello and Hugh Panaro will also participate in the New York reading.

The production was intended to play the Shaftesbury Theatre, but technical difficulties involving a stream under the theatre might prevent it from doing so. Regardless of if the show opens in London or New York, the production is aiming for a Fall 2011 opening starring Boggess.

Boggess originated the role of Ariel in the 2007 Broadway adaptation of the 1989 film The Little Mermaid to critical acclaim. She also starred in the Encores! production of Music in the Air which ran from Feb. 5-8, 2009 at the New York City Center. Boggess played her final performance as Ariel on May 31, 2009 and was succeeded by understudy Chelsea Morgan Stock.

Boggess is currently starring as Christine Daaé in the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera called Love Never Dies, which began previews in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre on February 22, 2010 and officially opened on March 9, 2010. She also took part in The Rodgers and Hammerstein Prom at The Royal Albert Hall on 22 August 2010 which was screened on 28th.
