Sheryl Crow Announces Return to South Bend 5/25
From the start of her multi-platinum debut album through 2010's 100 Miles to Memphis record, nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow has garnered the adoration and respect from international audiences and musical peers alike. It's easy to cast Crow as strictly pop rock, but this singer-songwriters' impressive song production pulls from folk, hip hop, country and pop influences.
Sheryl Crow makes a special stop in South Bend, Ind., on Wednesday, August 17, 8 p.m., at Morris Performing Arts Center. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 4, at 10 a.m. Tickets are reserved seating and cost $78.75, $58.75, $48.75 and
$38.75. Prices include a charitable donation; applicable fees may apply.
Purchase tickets at the Morris Box Office, charge by phone at 5742359190 or online at www.morriscenter.org or any of the following ticket outlets: Hammes Bookstore (Eddy Street) Super Sounds (Goshen) or Karma Records (Plymouth and Warsaw). This is an allages performance.
Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club (1993) shot the Kennett, Mo., native into
international stardom. Featuring such hits as "Leaving Las Vegas," "All I Wanna Do,"
"Strong Enough" and "Can't Cry Anymore," Tuesday reached over seven million in
sales and led to Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Best
Female Vocal Performance.
Crow followed with her self-titled release that included an array of darker messages
and themes the songwriter channeled into radio friendly hits. Among the album's hit
are "Everyday Is a Winding Road," and "Home."
Crow continued to release hits like "My Favorite Mistake," a cover of the Guns N
Roses iconic "Sweet Child of Mine" and "Anything But Down." She has collaborated
with music's biggest names including Kid Rock, Michelle Branch, The Dixie Chicks,
Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson and Sting among others.
Her albums have sold 16 million copies in the United States and an estimated 35
million worldwide. Visit SherylCrow.com for additional information.
Morris Performing Arts Center is located at 211 North Michigan Street.
