Sherie Rene Scott returns to 54 Below for the highly-anticipated reprise of her acclaimed show "Piece Of Meat" for a limited two-week engagement. "Piece Of Meat" is an exhilarating evening about human desires - carnal, culinary and otherwise. Ms. Scott explores her singular storytelling and musical abilities with songs by Joni Mitchell, Paul McCartney, Talking Heads, Pete Townshend, Annie Lennox, Dire Straits, Buddy Holly, Kate Bush and Noah & The Whale, along with original compositions by music directorTodd Almond. The show features musical staging by Michele Lynch and direction by Lear deBessonett.

Sherie Rene Scott is an actor, singer and writer known for her work in numerous theatrical productions, including Everyday Rapture, written by Dick Scanlan and Ms. Scott, directed by Michael Mayer (Tony Award nominations for Best Actress in a Musical, Best Book and Best Musical; Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award nominations); Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Drama Desk Nomination); "Ursula" in Disney's The Little Mermaid (Outer Critics Circle nomination); John Guare's Landscape of the Body, directed by Michael Greif (Obie Award, Lucille Lortel Award), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, directed by Jack O'Brien (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle Award nominations); Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida(Derwent Award); The Who's Tommy (OBC); Rent; The Last Five Years, directed by Daisy Prince (Drama Desk nomination); Debbie Does Dallas; Randy Newman's Faust; and Kander & Ebb's Over and Over (Helen Hayes nomination).

With Kurt Deutsch, she founded both Sh-K-Boom Records and Ghostlight Records, producing over 130 albums, garnering several Grammy Awards and nominations, most recently for the cast album of The Book of Mormon. Sherie Rene Scott will perform "Piece of Meat" at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue) on Mondays, June 17 and 24 at 7:00 PM; Wednesdays, June 19 and 26 at 7:00 PM; Thursdays, June 20 and 27 at 7:00 PM; Fridays, June 21 and 28 at 8:00 PM; and Saturdays, June 22 and 29 at 8:00 PM. There will be additional 11:00 PM late shows on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. There is a $50 cover charge in the main dining room and a $40 cover at the bar.
