Seth Bisen-Hersh Presents 350th Showcase Octopalooza

This spring, Seth Bisen-Hersh will celebrate his 8th anniversary producing, emceeing and accompanying Talent Showcases at Don't Tell Mama as he hits 350 showcases. To commemorate, he will present the 350th Showcase Octopalooza: 5 concerts of his songs featuring 84 showcase alumni.

The dates of the Octopalooza are Friday, April 24th; Friday, May 1st; Tuesday, May 5th; Tuesday, May 12th; and Friday May 15th. Shows are all at 7PM at Don't Tell Mama, 343 W. 46th St. There is a $12 cover and 2 drink minimum. Reservations can be made by calling 212-757-0788 after 4 or going online to donttellmamanyc.com. . SETH BISEN-HERSH is a prolific, versatile and award-winning composer/ lyricist and performer. His musicals include Love Quirks (successful limited run in NYC, September 2014, lovequirks.com), Stanley's Party (Manhattan Children's Theatre, 2010), More to Love (2014 Winner: Best Lyrics, West Village Musical Theatre Festival), The Spickner Spin (2004 Fringe NYC Audience Favorite Award), and Meaningless Sex (2003 Fringe NYC Audience Favorite Award). He has also written and starred in 9 cabaret song cycles of his work: And Then She Dumped Me, The Gayest Straight Man Alive, Meaningful Sex, Neurotic Tendencies, Why Am I Not Famous Yet?, Writer's Block: a cabaret that was hard to write, I'll Relax When I'm Dead: a reluctantly prolific cabaret, If Adele Can Do It, So Can I: an evening of mostly sorrow and Not Your Grandma's Cabaret (unless she's really naughty). He produces two annual charity concerts of his work featuring Broadway performers (Broadway Meows and Broadway Can!), writes/ stars in the web series Every Day a Little Seth (Season 5 premieres June 2015), and by May 2015, will have emceed, produced and accompanied over 350 talent showcases at Don't Tell Mama. In addition, he recently published a memoir: Sleep. Write. Now. Emerging from a dark year of insomnia, anxiety and depression from loss. He has two Bachelors from MIT (Computer Science & Engineering and Music Composition) and a Masters in Music Technology from NYU.
