Emmy and SAG Award winner and 2010 Tony Award nominee Sean Hayes, will host the 64th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards® on Sunday, June 13th, live from Radio City Music Hall. The Tony Awards will air live on CBS from 8:00-11:00PM (ET/PT time delay). The Tonys are presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing.

Hayes has received critical acclaim for his roles in theatre, television and film and quickly grabbed America's heart as the hilarious Jack McFarland on "Will & Grace," a role for which he received an Emmy Award (and six nominations), four Screen Actors Guild Awards, two TV Guide Awards, an American Comedy Award and seven Golden Globe nominations. Hayes's other notable television projects include guest roles on "Scrubs" and "30 Rock" as well as "Martin & Lewis" a television film that earned Hayes a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. Hayes' film credits include The Bucket List, Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, Pieces of April, The Cat in the Hat, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, Igor, Soul Men and Cats and Dogs. In 2003, Hayes and producing partner Todd Milliner formed Hazy Mills Productions. Their projects include "Situation: Comedy," "Eight Days a Week," "What News?" and an up-and-coming "Hot in Cleveland," premiering this June on TV Land.

Hayes can currently be seen on Broadway in Promises, Promises alongside Kristin Chenoweth. For his performance, Hayes has received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, as well as nominations from the Drama League and the Outer Critics Circle.

"I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards," said Hayes. "As the new guy on Broadway, it's an honor to be included in the established alumni."

The 2010 Tony Awards will be executive produced by Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment.

"We couldn't be more excited about Sean carrying on the tradition of excellent hosts, for the Tony Awards," said Weiss and Kirshner. "Sean's humor, charm and natural ability on the stage will make an already great show, even better."

Kirshner has worked on 16 of the past 17 Tony Awards beginning as Associate Producer and working up to Executive Producer. Weiss is also director of the telecast; this is his tenth year. He won an Emmy Award for his direction of the 2005 telecast. Together as Executive Producers they have won Emmy's for the 59th, 60th and 61st Tony Award Telecasts.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Award®, which was founded by the American Theatre Wing in 1947, is bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast - the night America watches Broadway - is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.
