The Sean Hayes-produced supernatural television series GRIMM made its public premiere at Comic Con last week, and today Deadline.com reports that the actor may himself take a role in the series.

"It's possible down the road," Hayes reportedly said when asked about the rumor. "It's nothing imminent."

Hayes made his New York stage debut in DAMN YANKEES at City Center Encores, though he's likely best known to theatre audiences for starring opposite Kristin Chenoweth in the recent revival of PROMISES, PROMISES.

His films include The Bucket List, Pieces of April, The cat in the Hat (as the voice of the Fish), Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, and Cats and Dogs (as the voice of Mr. Tinkles). He has won four Screen Actors Guild Awards, a TV Guide Award and an American Comedy Award.

Hayes won an Emmy (and was nominated six times) for his portrayal of Jack on Will & Grace. He starred as Jerry Lewis in the television movie "Martin & Lewis."

GRIMM, debuting on NBC this fall, is a provocative police procedural with supernatural mythology, inspired by the classic Grimm Brother's Fairy Tales. With an original "crime-fighting meets story-telling" premise, the series promises a new world of police work where the cases have a storybook connection, but not always happily ever after.
