Savion Glover Inaugurates Bleecker Thingz With 'Percussion Discussion' 6/23
Savion Glover will inaugurate BleecKer ThingZ on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 45 Bleecker Street Theatres with "PERCUsSiOn DISCUsSiOn". BleecKer ThingZ is a presenting jazz and performance series co-curated and produced by Savion Glover Productions and Pure Projects, Inc. - hosted
by Savion Glover and Solo Performer Marcella Goheen. BleecKer ThingZ will feature different legendary music performers every other Tuesday beginning June 23, 2009. Series performances include appearances by Savion Glover, Marshall Davis, Cartier Williams, BARE SOUNDZ, Marcella Goheen, The Maria Project, Percussionists, Legendary Jazz Musicians, The Hooferz Club and surprise Award Winning Musicians.
The opening performance of BleecKer ThingZ will include "PERCUsSiOn DISCUsSiOn" - Narrated by Savion Glover. Two Sets: 8:00 PM / 10:00 PM. All Tickets $30.00. Please call 212-252-5224 for further information.
Savion Glover PRODUCTIONS (Producer) is a production entity established in January, 2006. While highlighting the tradition of tap dancing and sound, our team-based organization seeks to provide quality production and project management services for tap dancers.
