Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, Pajama Game, Wonderful Town) will direct Tony Award-winning actor Matthew Broderick (The Producers, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Brighton Beach Memoirs) in NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT. Blair Underwood

Joining NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT for the spring 2012 season will be A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, directed by Emily Mann and starring The Event's Blair Underwood as Stanley Kowalski. The production will be presented on Broadway by Front Row Productions. This will be the ninth revival of the famous Tennessee Williams play, the most recent being in 2005 starring the late Natasha Richardson, Amy Ryan and John C. Reilly. SPIDER-MAN, TURN OFF THE DARK finally had its long awaited opening night on Tuesday, June 14th after a record-breaking 183 previews and countless headlines. THE ADDAMS FAMILY celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway this week. Based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, the show held special cake-cutting with the cast: Tony Award winner Roger Rees as Gomez; two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia, Brad Oscar as Fester, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, Jackie Hoffman as Grandma, Zachary James as Lurch, Heidi Blickenstaff as Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper as Mal Beineke and Jesse Swenson as Lucas Beineke. Announcing the end of its West End run is LOVE NEVER DIES. The production had recently announced that bookings were open through January 2012, but will close this August. The musical opened at the Adelphi Theatre 9th March 2010, with previews from 20th Feb and closed down briefly last winter for a set of changes. For the full article, click here.
