In a fascinating new interview with USA Today, world renown stage star, recording artist and concert performer Sarah Brightman discusses her upcoming space journey as well as aspects of her far-out new album DREAMCHASER.

"This album, which is called DREAMCHASER, is probably my most personal album to date," Brightman candidly confesses in the conversation.

In discussing viewing the moon landing on television as a child and the effect it had on her, Brightman recounts, "It changed many of us, I think. I don't think there has been anything so amazing, you know, to date that was like that."

"That moment, things changed," Brightman recalls of the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969.

In footage depicting her Russian cosmonaut training, Brightman passionately states: "I want to do something very, very special - I want to go there, where they are. I actually want to go up into space," she says.

As for the weight of these lofty ambitions on her emotions and general well-being? "Big steps," the world's bestselling soprano says with a laugh.
