Atlantic City/Las Vegas entertainer SAl Richards will bring his show, ‘The Way It Was' to New York City's Triad Theatre for 4 special engagements; July 22; July 29; August 6; and, August 13. Richards opening act with be Sinatra-singing Jerry Cardone.

The Brooklyn-born Richards has a long and varied show business pedigree, and, has appeared on many TV staples as, ‘Merv Griffin', ‘Dean Martin', his own HBO comedy special; an appearance on HBO's The Sopranos; and, in the movie OUT FOR JUSTICE with Steven Segal. He has also guested on a pivotal episode of NBC's LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. He is also the subject of a DVD documentary entitled ‘Mr. LAUGHS... A LOOK BEHIND THE CURTAI'; a comprehensive look at his career with testimonials from the likes of Don Rickles; Sid Ceasar; Red Buttons; Jerry Stiller; Soupy Sales; Joy Behar; and, Julius LaRosa, among others. The DVD is narrated by Criminal Intents' Vincent D'Onofrio. The DVD tells the story of Richard's quixotic life ... the ups ... and, the downs. It has received numerous awards from six major film festivals across the country.

A perennial performer in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Richards also lends his name and support to numerous charitable causes and is a regular at many events for The Friar's Club in New York.
