Terry Lavell, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana is currently in the hit Tony award winning Broadway revival of "La Cage Aux Folles" as one of the "notorious and dangerous" Cagelles. He also appeared in the regional touring companies of the Broadway hits "Smoky Joe's Café," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "Boys From Syracuse" and "Aida." Lavell has also performed in the Tony award winning "Hairspray" in Las Vegas as well as several off-Broadway productions.

He has participated in several workshops and readings for the show "The Invisible Life" based on the acclaimed book by the late E. Lynn Harris. The music for "Invisible Life" was written by the songwriters, performers and producers Nicholas Ashford & Valerie Simpson.
