Jude Law and Michael Grandage talk to the UK Telegraph's theatre critic Charles Spencer about their production of Hamlet at the Wyndham's Theatre as part of the Donmar Warehouse's year-long West End season.

Producer Arielle Tepper Madover announced last month that the critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of William Shakespeare's HAMLET with Jude Law in the title role, directed by Michael Grandage, will come to Broadway this fall, following sold out runs in London's West End and a special engagement at Elsinore Castle in Denmark.

HAMLET will begin performances at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) on Saturday, September 12 and open on Tuesday, October 6 for a strictly limited run of twelve weeks only. Law will be joined by the Donmar Theatre company of actors from London and Elsinore with further details to be announced later.

Previous Donmar Warehouse shows in New York include the Tony Award-winning productions of Cabaret, Take Me Out, The Real Thing, Frost/Nixon and Mary Stuart, currently playing at the Broadhurst Theatre.

HAMLET is currently playing at Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End, where it completes its sold out run on August 22. It then travels to Kronberg Castle, Elsinore, for a sold out run from August 25-30, prior to Broadway. For more features on HAMLET visit the Telegraph website by clicking here.
