STAGE TUBE: ABC Colleagues Serenade Sawyer With PROMISES PROMISES Tune

Diane Sawyer's co-workers had no intention of letting her 65th Birthday slide by unnoticed.

After being told there was breaking news to report, Sawyer was taken by surprise when her entire office burst into their own rendition of the PROMISES PROMISES tune "Say A Little Prayer." Correspondents, editors and all join in on this sweet birthday serenade.

George Stephanopoulos serves champagne and even Robert Gibbs makes a cameo in this clip below.

PROMISES, PROMISES will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 2, 2011, having played 30 preview and 291 regular performances. PROMISES, PROMISES, directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford with Neil Simon's funny and touching book and Burt Bacharach and Hal David's hit-packed score, began previews at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) Saturday, March 27, 2010, and opened Sunday, April 25, 2010.

PROMISES, PROMISES stars Sean Hayes as Chuck Baxter, Kristin Chenoweth as Fran Kubelik, Tony Goldwyn as J.D. Sheldrake, Molly Shannon as Marge MacDougall and Dick Latessa as Dr. Dreyfuss. They lead a cast of 27 that includes Brooks Ashmanskas as Mr. Dobitch, Helen Anker as Miss Olson, Peter Benson as Mr. Kirkeby, Seán Martin Hingston as Mr. Eichelberger and Ken Land as Jesse Vanderhof.
