STAGE TUBE: THE LITTLE MERMAID's Rogelio Douglas Jr

In the Heights' powerhouse Rogelio Douglas, Jr. joined the Broadway cast of Disney's The Little Mermaid in the role of Sebastian. Disney On Broadway has created a wonderful series of video features on the hit musical, here we bring you the "behind the sea" chat with Rogelio!

Rogelio is an original Broadway cast member of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical In the Heights. He has appeared as a lead tap dancer in Riverdance on Broadway, world/national tours. He performed at Radio City Music Hall in the One World Jam (WFOX) production and can be seen in the video "Riverdance the Show: Live From Geneva." His other credits include Celia, Dreamgirls 25th anniversary with Jennifer Holliday (Theater of the Stars) and Five Guys Named Moe (Alliance Theater).

Based on the classic Walt Disney animated feature, Mermaid features popular songs "Part of Your World," "Kiss the Girl" and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea," composed by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman. Menken, along with lyricist Glenn Slater, have also written ten new songs for the Broadway adaptation. Playwright Doug Wright has crafted the book for this new musical.

The Little Mermaid tickets range in price from $51.50-$121.50 (all prices include a $1.50 facility fee).
