STAGE TUBE: BBC America's THE NERDIST: COMIC-CON Special & More Set for Today, 7/28

Two specials are set to air on BBC America's THE NERDIST today, July 28, 2012, including The Nerdist: Comic-Con and The Nerdist: Tribute to Toys and Games. Plus, three more specials are coming up next month in August. Watch the video promo below!

Every year, thousands of nerds converge in beautiful San Diego, where they shun the sunny skies and head indoors for the biggest comic book convention in the world: Comic-Con. In The Nerdist: Comic-Con, Chris Hardwick and his crack team of nerd experts do their best to piece together what happened at this year's event. From cosplayers to blockbuster films, new TV shows and video games, this episode has it all. Even comic books. The special features interviews with Doctor Who's Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill at Comic-Con, with in-studio guest appearances from Damon Lindelof (Lost, Star Trek) and John Barrowman (Torchwood, Doctor Who). The Nerdist: Comic-Con premieres Saturday, July 28, 9:00pm ET/PT.

The Nerdist: Tribute to Toys and Games comes new in the box. Chris and co-hosts Jonah Ray and Matt Mira talk about the nerdiest toys, collectibles, and games. Brooke Leigh Lawson and Gregory Crafts make in-studio guest appearances, while Chris and Aisha Tyler travel across time and space... playing the game, "Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock."
