Meet Mike Faist, playing Morris Delancey in Disney's newest Broadway production, NEWSIES, in the video! The musical is Faist's Broadway debut.

Newsies opened March 29th, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre for a limited run following its critically-hailed stint at Paper Mill Playhouse last fall. The musical, featuring a score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, played its first Broadway preview on March 15th; the final performance is scheduled for August 19th. Newsies, produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, is directed by Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.

The score includes songs from the original film such as "Carrying the Banner," "Seize the Day," "King of New York" and "Santa Fe." It also features six new songs, three of which ("The Bottom Line," "That's Rich" and "Something to Believe In") have been added for the Broadway production.

Tickets are available for purchase through NewsiesTheMusical.com, by calling Ticketmaster's Disney on Broadway hotline at 866-870-2717, or in person at the Nederlander Theatre box office (208 W. 41st Street). The Nederlander Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm through March 11th. Beginning March 12th box office hours will be Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am - 7:00pm.
