STAGE TUBE: Kevin Hart Announces MTV VMA Hosting Gig

Comedian Kevin Hart announced the news that he will host the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards by posting a video on Wednesday on MTV's website. The comedian appears in the video along with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. While revealing the news to them, he warns that  paparazzi are trying to get a look at “the new ‘it’ couple,” even though they would actually be a trio. He jokes, “I’m talking about Kev-Ye-Kim.” Check out the video below!

Pink, Alicia Keys and One Direction are all slated to perform on this year's ceremony. Nominations were announced last week. The MTV Video Music Awards will be presented September 6 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
