On this morning's GOOD MORNING AMERICA, 'How to Succeed in Business' star Nick Jonas helped the ABC crew pull a fast one over on the show's news reader Josh Elliot. GMA's Lara Spencer and Jason Goldberg, one of the creators of the MTV hits show 'Punk'd' were the master minds behind the set up.
Elliot thought he was doing a routine interview with Nick Jonas to discuss what it was like being a child star and teen heartthrob. The pranksters created a phoney YouTube video of a songwriter who claimed Jonas had stolen his song, 'A Little Bit Longer', which Nick wrote about his struggle with diabetes. Elliot was told to ask Jonas about the claim during the interview.
When he does so, the typically even-tempered and calm Jonas brother suddenly loses his cool and shouts, "I don't believe this" and halts the interview, as he begins to rant about all of the pain and frustration that went into writing the song. Jonas eventually fesses up and announces to a stunned Elliot that he has just been punk'd!
Jonas appeared on GMA this morning and joked about the prank, even apologizing to Elliot. Watch the entire story unfold below!
