STAGE TUBE: First Lady Michelle Obama Appears on THE COLBERT REPORT

First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on last night's THE COLBERT REPORT to promote her Joining Forces Initiative and encourage the hiring of military veterans. This was the First Lady's second appearance on the show. Joked Colbert, "The first time you were on my show, you were not the First Lady; now, you are. That's called the 'Colbert Bump'."

The Joining Forces Initiative is now celebrating the one-year anniversary since its launch. "Jill Biden and I started this initiative to make sure that this country, which is a grateful nation, that we make sure that we do whatever we can to honor the service of our veterans, our troops and their families," explained the First Lady.
