As part of their show at the Hollywood Bowl, Coldplay covered The Beastie Boys' hit song "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)" in a tribute to Adam "MCA" Yauch, who passed away yesterday, May 4, at the age of 47.
Yauch had been diagnosed with cancer of the preaortic gland and lymph node in 2009.
Yauch co-founded the hip-hop group The Beastie Boys in 1979 with Mike "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horowitz.
