The ABC comedy series COUGAR TOWN returns tonight, Tuesday, February 14th at 8:30 pm/ET. Courteney Cox stars as Jules Cobb in her Golden Globe®-nominated role as a divorced mom in her forties facing the often humorous challenges, pitfalls and rewards of life's next chapter. Along for the journey is her college-aged son, her ex-husband, her boyfriend/neighbor and her friends who together make up her dysfunctional, but supportive and caring extended family... even if they have a funny way of showing it sometimes.
This season Jules and "the cul de sac crew" find themselves involved in everything from weddings to babies and everything in between. Grayson builds up the courage to finally ask Jules to marry him and, while all seems good with their relationship, the pitter patter of little feet throws everything - and everyone -- for a loop. Meanwhile, Bobby seems to have found love with his girlfriend, Angie (Sarah Chalke), Laurie is focused on a new business venture decorating crazy cakes, Travis has to deal with some unexpected challenges while away at college (his doctor makes him wear a helmet!), and Andy leads the entire gang on an all-out war against the neighborhood punks.
The show stars Courteney Cox as Jules, Christa Miller as Ellie, Busy Philipps as Laurie, Dan Byrd as Travis, Josh Hopkins as Grayson, Ian Gomez as Andy and Brian Van Holt as Bobby.
On tonight's premiere episode entitled, "Ain't Love Strange", Jules is miffed when Grayson (who has an ulterior motive) calls her "predictable"; Ellie frets that little Stan is turning into a "devil child," or even worse, could grow up to be like Laurie; and Travis likes his new off campus housing, until Bobby tries to convince him to take dog Travis in. Guest stars include Robert Clendenin as Tom, Shawn Parikh as Sig and Sawyer Ever as Little Stan.
