Songwriter/guitarist/lead singer for Ripley the Band, Alice Ripley received the 2009 Tony award and the 2009 Helen Hayes award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of the mentally unstable housewife Diana Goodman in the Broadway musical sensation NEXT TO NORMAL. She also received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for her cult-devoured performance in the short lived broadway hit SIDE SHOW. In 2001, Sh-K-Boom records released her critically acclaimed "Everything's Fine" - a mix of pop, folk and jazz that showcased haunting lyrics in a song cycle of soft-core suburban hell. She currently sings lead

With the newly sharpened edge of RIPLEY's latest offering, "Outtasite," the music rocks hard and cuts the figure of an attention-getter with a killer voice. The band's drummer Shannon Ford has performed, recorded and toured with a starry list of artists, including Paul Simon, Danny Gatton and Phoebe Snow. Christopher Schelling is a new wave throwback whose keyboard styles range from "car alarm" to the ever-popular "Chopsticks". Other members of the band include Adam Lasus - engineer, co-producer, bass on WICKED TORCH and Joe Lambert - mastering, TRUTONE, NYC.
