SISTERS OF SWING Premieres Next at History Theatre, 11/21-12/20

By:

The Andrews Sisters - LaVerne, Maxene, and Patricia - were born and raised in Minneapolis, with their sights set on making a career in music. Little did they know when they left Minnesota, that they would become the all-time leader in the recording world. SISTERS OF SWING revisits the American experience during World War II through the finger-snapping, Big Band music of the Andrew Sisters, including "Don't Sit Under Apple Tree," "Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy," "Rum and Coca Cola," and many more.

SISTERS OF SWING stars Patty Neiman, Ruthie Baker, Stacey Lindell, and local funny man Ari Hoptman.  SISTERS opens Saturday, November 21 and runs through Sunday, December 20, 2009.

Tickets range from $28-$32.00 for adults, $25-$30.00 for seniors, $15 for students, and $10 for children. Group rates are also available. To purchase tickets, call the History Theatre Box Office at 651.292.4323 or go to www.historytheatre.com.
