The Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund is proud to join Cantor Fitzgerald's esteemed annual Charity Day on Sept. 11, 2015. The fund, which was established in honor of the late Fred Gabler, aids in sending underprivileged children to summer sleep-away camps. Gabler, a former partner and trader for Cantor Fitzgerald -- the company that lost the most lives in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, was a strong supporter of the summer camp experience for children. The fund honors his generous heart and passion.

Representing The Fred Gabler Fund this year is Ms. Rumer Willis. Ms. Willis is about to make her Broadway debut in CHICAGO and is the reigning "Dancing with the Stars" champion. Taking part in what has become a time honored celebrity tradition, Ms. Willis will join Cantor Fitzgerald's licensed brokers to help them complete real telephone trades with customers.

Each year, Cantor Fitzgerald commemorates those lost on 9/11 through its annual Charity Day, which was originally founded to raise money for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. Since inception, the Cantor Fitzgerld Relief Fund has raised and distributed more than $292 million in financial support for the families of the 658 victims from Cantor Fitzgerald. Since inception, their annual Charity Day has raised $101 million globally, for hundreds of charities that invest in a number of worthy causes globally. Charity Day commemorates those lost by reaching out to others and turning a tragic day into an inspiring one by donating 100 percent of the company's revenues from the day to charities around the world.

"We look forward to privilege of participating in Cantor Fitzgerald's Charity Day every year," said Howard Gabler, president of the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund. "Fred was a partner and equities trader at Cantor Fitzgerald and was working atop the North Tower on Sept. 11, 2001. Those of us who lost loved ones on that day know just how painful the anniversary can be, but Cantor Fitzgerald has managed to turn the occasion into something powerful and positive."

Summer camps played a tremendous role in Fred Gabler's life and the fund provides these once-in-a- lifetime opportunities to children in need in hope they share the same life-changing experiences that he had. The fund selects year-round camps with mentoring and counseling programs to empower children to become independent, increase their self-esteem and provide a feeling of responsibility. Camps that The Fred Gabler Fund have supported include Project Morry, Fiver Children's Foundation, Camp Vacamas and most recently Camp Felix of the New York Foundling Organization and Camp Broaderway.
