LEFT TO OUR OWN DEVICES is a new musical for young audiences and young performers featuring a score by award winning pop composer/lyricist Stephanie Salzman and bookwriter EllaRose Chary. Salzman has worked with Whitney Houston (Artista/Platinum), 3LW/ Cheetah Girls (Epic/Sony; Platinum), and Faith Hill (Warner Bros). Chary’s work has been featured nationally and internationally, including at Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub, and The NYPL Bruno Walter Auditorium. The reading will be directed by director/choreographer Janine Molinari, artistic director of Dance Molinari NYC/LA. The reading also features the work of Willem Oosthuysen (music director), Victoria Buda (stage manager), Holly Sansom (line producer) and John Emmett O’Brien (line producer). DEVICES was a semi-finalist for the Ronald M. Ruble New Play Festival and was featured in Momentum Repertory Company’s New Works Festival in June 2012.
