Ripe Theatre presents Mimetic, a comedy written and performed by Noah Kelly, Sarah McKereghan, Mark Rachel, Liz Roddy and Deborah Wade, and directed by Peter Q. Parish

The group's 12th show at the EXIT, where it is a company-in-residence, plays Fridays and Saturdays, March 7-29 at Exit Main Stage, 156 Eddy Street (between Mason & Taylor) in downtown San Francisco. All shows at 8:00 p.m. Tickets $12-$20 at the door, $20 online.  Reservations: (415) 673-3847, or online at www.theexit.org

Exit Theatre produces the San Francisco Fringe Festival, the second oldest Fringe Festival in the United States and is a member of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF).  2008 will mark the 17th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival.  Also in 2008, and in collaboration with New York's Horse Trade Theatre, EXIT will co-produce its second annual CAFF-sanctioned "Frigid" New York Festival. Each year, Exit Theatre presents over 500 performances of some 100 productions by more than 75 companies and is one of San Francisco's most successful and enduring centers of alternative performance.  Now at age 25, Exit continues to commission, develop and produce new work and present independent artists.

Current companies-in-residence at Exit Theatre are Cutting Ball Theater (at Exit on Taylor) and Ripe Theatre, along with playwright-in-residence Sean Owens and artist-in-residence theatrical magician Christian Cagigal.  Exit also produces Mark Romyn's Thursday Night Combo, where artists try out new material in the cabaret atmosphere of the Exit Café.

In addition to the San Francisco Fringe Festival, Exit produces the annual DIVAfest, dedicated to developing new work by women writers.  The Exit Theatreplex includes Exit Theatre, Exit Stage Left, and Exit Café at 156 Eddy Street, and EXIT on Taylor, around the corner at 277 Taylor Street, all in Downtown San Francisco. Visit the Exit Theatre web site at www.theexit.org.
