Reprise! 'Broadway Babies' at Ford

Reprise! Broadway's Best has announced Broadway Babies as their next Best of Broadway at the Ford Amphitheatre production, set for June 16.  Stage veterans Karen Morrow, Mimi Hines and Marilyn Maye will sing favorite songs from the Great White Way in this One Night Only performance.

Morrow starred on Broadway in I Had A Ball,  A Joyful Noise, I'm Solomon, Music, Music, The Selling of The President, The Grass Harp, They Mystery of Edwin Drood and most recently in the national tour of  Showboat.

Hines parlayed her career by replacing Barbra Streisand on Broadway in Funny Girl, running this star vehicle for 18 months on her own star power.  She has also starred in national touring companies of I Do! I Do! and Prisoner of Second Avenue.  Mimi appeared as Mrs. Latimer on "Fraiser" and returned to Broadway in the Tommy Tune production of Grease, in which she kept the cast in line as the strict but loveable schoolteacher, Miss Lynch.

Maye's career is a litany of honors, awards, and landmark achievements.  She has performed in cabarets and theaters, regularly on nearly all major, national live performance television shows; from Monte Carlo for the late Princess Grace to New York's famed Lincoln Center for the Manhattan's musical elite. All of it a long way from the regional orchestras in midwestern towns where she began.
