Showgirls! The Musical!, the unauthorized musical parody of the cult classic film Showgirls, announces that Rena Riffel, who was scheduled to reprise her role as "Penny" from the film Showgirls through May 29, will instead stay with the production for its entire run. All shows include a post-performance meet-and-greet with Rena. Tickets ($20) are on sale at www.XLNightclub.com.

Following its premiere at the East Village's Kraine Theater, Showgirls! The Musical! thrusted its way to Times Square for an extended engagement at XL Nightclub's 200-seat Off-Broadway theater. Performances continue through June 15, 2013.

Showgirls! The Musical! follows the beautiful drifter with a secret past, Nomi, as she journeys from stripper to showgirl in Las Vegas. What will Nomi sacrifice on her rise to fame? Who will she sleep with along the way? Will she ever like brown rice and vegetables?

You'll be thrusting in your seat to songs about fashion ("I'd Look Great in a Versace"), romance ("F*cking Underwater"), dance instruction ("D*ncing Ain't F*cking, Girl"), cautionary tales ("Don't Lick that Pole, Girl") and much much much more.

Showgirls! The Musical! features book, music, lyrics and direction by Bob and Tobly McSmith(Bayside! The Saved By The Bell Musical!, JonBenet! Murder Mystery Theater!). Choreography is by Jason Wise (Night of A Thousand Judys, NBC's Smash)

Showgirls! The Musical is produced by John Capo and MediumFace Productions.

The cast of Showgirls! The Musical! features April Kidwell as Nomi Malone, Rori Nogee as Cristal Conners, John E. Elliott as Kyle MacLachlan, Marcus Desion as Molly/James and Philip McLeod as Gay with Amanda Nicholas, Natalie Wagner and Israel Vinas as the Showgirls.
