Ravinia Adds Second Jennifer Hudson Concert to Line-up, 7/14

By:

By popular demand, Ravinia will add a second Jennifer Hudson concert to the 2011 summer line-up at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17. Pavilion tickets are available for purchase for $80 and lawn tickets are $33. Tickets to this concert and all other 2011 shows go on sale to the public on April 27, exclusively at Ravinia.org. Hudson makes her Ravinia debut the night before, on Saturday, July 16.

A Chicago native, Hudson began her career as one of the finalists on American Idol and skyrocketed to stardom with her film debut in Dreamgirls, which earned her the Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actress. Hudson's self-titled debut album won the Grammy for Best R&B Album in 2008. She recently released her sophomore album, I Remember Me to great acclaim.

Ravinia Festival is located at Lake Cook and Green Bay roads in Highland Park. For more information, visit Ravinia.org. Ravinia welcomes all festival fans to follow, connect and interact online at backstage.ravinia.org, twitter.com/raviniafestival and facebook.com (search Ravinia Festival).
