Continuing the theme of offering the most radical perks for their audience (like offering the lowest top ticket price for any Broadway musical), the producers of the new Broadway musical comedy ROCK OF AGES announced several ticket initiatives that that will treat audience members to one of the most unique (and inexpensive!) experiences on Broadway, every night.

Previews begin tonight, Tuesday, March 17th at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre, 256 W. 47th Street. Opening night is set for Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

VIP GREEN ROOM BOX ($295.00 for 4 tickets)
Party the night away in the best 'see & be seen' seats in the house. This ultimate party package includes four cushy seats to the show located in one of only four mezzanine boxes, and includes your own waiter.

PREMIUM SEATS (Ticket Range $135.00 - 175.00)
A premium ticket at ROCK OF AGES actually gets you something more than nifty aisle seats; you also get waitress service and access to the VIP Mezzanine Lounge starting one-hour before curtain.

DRINK SERVICE (For all orchestra ticket holders)
Come one, come all. Starting 30 minutes before every show and during intermission, audience members seated in the orchestra will be able to buy color-coded drink chips (to eliminate money exchange/ credit card transactions during the show) from one of the several waiters disbursed throughout the orchestra or at the bar. The chips can then be redeemed during the show, from your seat, for the drink of your choice. While the show is playing (and if you have not purchased any drink chips or are seated in the mezzanine), drinks may be purchased at the bar and can then be taken back to your seat.

LOTTERY TICKETS
Two hours prior to every performance, there will be a lottery drawing offering $26.50 tickets for selected seats in the orchestra. Entries accepted at box office beginning two and half hours prior to each performance. Names will be drawn at random two hours prior to curtain time. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing. Limit one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Cash only.

½ PRICED PREVIEW TICKETS AND THE LOWEST TOP TICKET IN TOWN!
As previously announced, ROCK OF AGES, has established an unprecedented ticket structure by offering a large block of orchestra and front mezzanine tickets for preview performances (March 17, 2009 - April 6, 2009) for $49.50 with the code "PROCK". Following the production's opening night on April 7, 2009, ROCK OF AGES will have a lower top ticket price than ANY other Broadway musical with a ticket range of $26.50 - $99.00. A bargain even in the 1980's!

In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl met a big city rocker and in LA's most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the '80s. It's ROCK OF AGES, an arena-rock love story starring Constantine Maroulis ('American Idol", The Wedding Singer) told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Reo Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more. Don't miss this awesomely good time about dreaming big, playing loud and partying on. The show is written by Chris D'Arienzo (writer and director of the upcoming film Barry Munday), directed by Kristin Hanggi (Bare, Pussycat Dolls on the Sunset Strip) and choreographed by Kelly Devine (Jersey Boys - Associate Choreographer).

Press notes state that the crowds and critics agree - "ROCK OF AGES is "a nonstop party laden with sexy choreography, energetic performances and an on stage band that totally rocks the house" proclaims The Associated Press. The New York Post says, "ROCK OF AGES does for '80s rock what "Mamma Mia!" did for ABBA".

All tickets (including VIP Green Room and Premium Seats) can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com/ 212-307-4100 or in person at The Brooks Atkinson Box Office, 256 W. 47th Street.

The performance schedule for March 17 - March 29 is Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 2pm & 8pm. Beginning on Monday, March 30, the performance schedule is Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm and Sunday at 2pm & 7pm.
