ROCK OF AGES and The Boot Campaign Host Military Tribute Night and Prize Giveaway, 10/2

The five-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES, along with non-profit organization The Boot Campaign – a Texas-based non-profit that promotes patriotism and awareness of current U.S. Armed Forces and veterans' issues – will host a Military Tribute Night at the smash hit musical on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 W. 44th Street, NYC.

The Boot Campaign, together with headline sponsor Benchmark Mortgage, has offered 100 free tickets to Active Duty, Retired & Veteran members of the U.S. Military, who will be treated to a live performance of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, a Meet and Greet with the cast, and will rock the night away at the official after party held at the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill, 237 West 42 Street, NYC. In addition, one Veteran in attendance will receive a mortgage-free home, courtesy of The Boot Campaign and Benchmark Mortgage. Over the summer, THE BOOT CAMPAIGN and ROCK OF AGES first joined forces for a photo shoot with the entire cast decked out in full costume and military boots. The cast joins a chorus a celebrity Boot Campaign supporters – including Dolly Parton, Kathie Lee Gifford, the Detroit Redwings, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and so many more – who have also taken photos in the military boots. The classic rock love story of the decade erupts into Broadway's Best Party, all to the sounds of such feel-good, sing-out-loud songs as Every Rose Has Its Thorn, I Wanna Know What Love Is, Here I Go Again, Don't Stop Believin' and more. The Boot Campaign is a 501c3 non-profit military appreciation and veteran awareness campaign based in Texas. Launched in 2009 by a group of women known as The Boot Girls, the Boot Campaign's mission is to express gratitude to the troops, spread awareness of the needs of military personnel and support their transition home.
